POLICY / TERMS & CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS / PAYMENT

Payment is required within 24 hours of receiving the invoice in order to confirm/hold your date.

  • Order requests must be received at least 1 week prior to your event.
  • Payments can be made via Venmo @bigdaydisplays45895 or Credit Card (3% charge for credit card transactions will be added).
  • By placing a reservation with BIG DAY Displays, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions outlined.
  • You will be invoiced for missing or damaged lawn display items.
  • We do not set up in back yards.
  • We reserve the right to decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful, or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business.  If an order is declined, a full refund will be given. Thank you for your understanding.

 

DELIVERY

  • Deliveries are usually the evening before the event.
  • We cannot deliver during turbulent weather (e.g. Thunder/Lightning storm, Tornado watch/warning, hail, blizzard). If weather becomes an issue, we will contact you to make other delivery arrangements or issue a refund.
  • All reservations are weather permitting. Frozen ground can make installation difficult and will be assessed throughout the winter.
  • If we are not able to install your card due to severe weather, you may apply that payment to another date or have a refund issued.
  • All yard card setups include an advertising sign for BIG DAY Displays. This may not be moved or altered.

 

PREPARATION

  • For our safety, please be sure someone at the location knows we will be delivering.
  • Pets need to be secure inside or in a fenced area. Outside pets may cause a disturbance during set up and ruin a surprise.
  • Pet waste needs to be removed from the yard prior to installation.
  • Turn off the sprinkler system for the duration of the yard card being there.

 

SAFETY & CARE

  • For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. The display WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it.
  • Please take pride in your lawn display and treat it with respect
    • Please DO NOT move the items.
    • Please DO NOT pull signs from the ground.
    • Please DO NOT allow any lawn maintenance to occur near the cards. Grass clippings will stick to the cards and stain them. Weed eaters can cause significant damage.
  • Please DO NOT throw lawn displays in the garbage or vandalize our signs.  Even if you do not like the display (or the person it was gifted to does not like it), these items are OUR property and business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are responsible for it.
  • Please DO NOT attach balloons to the display.
  • BIG DAY Displays and all representatives are not responsible for or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.
  • We are not responsible for vandalism in the form of the yard greeting being altered to inappropriate or profane language.

 

REFUND POLICY

  • If you must cancel your reservation prior to 24 hours before setup, you can choose to receive ½ of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date within 6 months, based on availability.
  • No refunds will be given due to a client giving us the wrong address.
  • No refunds will be given due to the recipient requesting us to remove the lawn display.
  • No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
  • No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display upon arrival that are out of our control.

Cost of yard card for 24 hour rental $95. Additional rental is $35 per day (dependant on availability)

Happy Birthday

  • One custom phrase (e.g. Happy Birthday, Happy XXth Birthday)
    • Additional phrases $15 per phrase (Happy Birthday, We Love You would be two phrases)
  • One name
  • Balloons / cupcakes / stars
  • Art cards (sport, emojis, character, etc.)

Graduation

  • Congratulations / Congrats / Way To Go / Good Luck at (college, military)
    • Additional phrases $15 per phrase
  • Name
  • Date
  • Art cards (sport, emojis, diplomas, stars, balloons, etc.)

Miscellaneous Celebrations

  • One custom phrase Welcome Home / Celebrate / Holidays
    • Additional phrases $15 per phrase
  • Name

Baby Announcement $75 for 48 hour rental 

  • Bright Blue IT’S A BOY
  • Bright Pink IT’S A GIRL
  • Balloons / stars / etc

A $20 convenience fee will be applied to all yard card reservations when ordered within 3 days of delivery.

If you require yard cards to be installed or picked up on a holiday (New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day) a $15 fee will be charged.

We reserve the right to photograph your yard card display and use it for marketing or other purposes.

You are encouraged to pose next to the display to photograph your celebration.
